Rice For Cambodia is fortunate to have the support of two very reliable Foundations in the Siem Reap area who respectively provide the necessary ‘hands on’ approach Rice For Cambodia needs to achieve their goals.
SHINTA MANI FOUNDATION
The Shinta Mani Foundation is financially sponsored by the Shinta Mani Hotel, a 6 Star hotel in Siem Reap.
Over the years the Shinta Mani Foundation has, built houses, installed water wells, erected toilets, built chicken coups, installed vegetable gardens for numerous very poor families in rural areas of Siem Reap.
In the last 5 years the Shinta Mani Foundation has also made its staff available to support ongoing projects Rice For Cambodia have initiated.
These projects include monthly food drops to 17 families, food packs to 29 families to encourage their children to attend school, medical supplies and New Mums Kits to the Peak Sneng Health Centre and school supplies, school uniforms, back packs to children attending Sandan Primary School, and urgent medical attention required.
In addition Shinta Mani Foundation staff coordinate and oversee building projects that Rice For Cambodia have sponsored such as toilet and shower facilities and a family room at Peak Sneng Health Centre, installed a playground and canteen at Sandan Primary School. They also oversee the building of houses, water wells, toilets, establish vegetable gardens, build chicken coups and micro financed businesses.

LIFE AND HOPE ASSOCIATION
Life and Hope Association is the reason Rice for Cambodia was established in 2004 and is a Pagoda of monks in Siem Reap, who are committed to providing food and support to the poorest of the poor in the Angkor Thom District.
Rice for Cambodia provides funds to Life and Hope Association on a regular basis which is used to provide food to families in our Sustainable Community Program, who have been identified as needing support. As some families situation improves they leave the project and other needy families join the program.
Rice For Cambodia also provides funds to Life and Hope Association for the purchase of school supplies for the school age children of families in the Sustainable Community Program.
